Achievements of Our Partner Universities in the PatentEffect 2025 Report

According to the “Patent Commercialization Champion Universities” rankings announced within the scope of the Turkey Patent Report 2025 published by PatentEffect, we are pleased to see the concrete outcomes of the licensing and commercialization activities carried out together with our partner universities.

🏆 At Istinye University, a total of 5 patents were transferred to industry through 5 different licensing agreements during 2025. With this achievement, Istinye University shared the 4th place in Türkiye together with Yıldız Technical University, Boğaziçi University, and Bilkent University.

We would like to thank the Istinye Garage Incubation Hub and Istinye TTO teams for their valuable contributions.

🏆 At Gebze Technical University, 4 patents were commercialized through 3 licensing agreements. The university ranked among the top institutions in Türkiye in terms of total licensing agreements and achieved 2nd place in the “High-Value Patent Commercialization” category thanks to licensing deals exceeding 100,000 TL in upfront licensing fees.

🏆 Within the scope of our collaborations with Istanbul University, 2 patents were commercialized through 2 licensing agreements in 2025. The university ranked 13th nationwide in patent licensing agreements.
