As CETLİS Consultancy, we came together with the Cankurt & Çelik Patent Research Group, founded by distinguished faculty members from Yıldız Technical University and Biruni University.
Within the scope of the training session titled “Technology Commercialization and Licensing Strategies,” we discussed the assessment of patent commercialization potential, market positioning of technologies, licensing models, valuation approaches, and university-industry collaboration processes.
We emphasized that supporting academic research with intellectual property protection and transferring technologies to industry through the right commercialization strategies are essential for sustainable technology transfer. In this context, patents should be considered not only as protection instruments but also as strategic assets capable of generating economic value.
